Before you give

  • Who may contribute: individuals, businesses, PACs, and unions may contribute. Foreign nationals and government contractors subject to state restrictions may not.
  • Contribution limits: contributions are subject to the limits set by the Political Reform Act and the Los Rios Community College District for the 2026 election cycle.
  • Required information: California law requires the campaign to collect and report the name, address, occupation, and employer for contributors of $100 or more.
  • Not tax deductible: political contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes.
